Angela and the Morgantown Team -
Thank you for your time and all the coordinating to make today so meaningful and rich. I could listen to stories and soak in each Morgantown experience for days. Having the alumni speak about their memories and time at the Morgantown School captivated our students and made history deep, full and real. After the discussion, students reflected on comments and moments that struck them and each articulated how much they enjoyed hearing directly about the alumni's elementary experiences. We live in such a vastly different world, and all captured the gifts of their years at Morgantown School, and in the community, emphasizing the importance of human connection and care for one another. We strive to instill many of the gifts you all shared in our students today - the importance of a strong work ethic, respect, grace and courteously, problem solving and thinking outside the box, collaborating, supporting one another, being responsible for oneself and helping others, contributing to the whole, and being grateful for life's simple gifts. I know the seeds you planted today will stay with our students as they navigate their own lives and, hopefully, all our efforts create nourishment for these important roots of life lessons to grow and spread.
We so appreciate everyone's time and willingness to share their memories. They are powerful and we are honored to be part of the partnership to capture this important history.
Many thanks to all.
Enjoy the weekend,
Theo
